PROPOSAL
We provide a written quotation so you know the cost of your project before starting. When we have received a virtual signed quotation and all textual content and photographs have been provided, we will then schedule your project.
PROJECT
The team at Urbana Web Design have developed five steps for the development process of your project to ensure the delivery of a Web solution that effectively solves your business needs. This process has led to the successful development of high-profile corporate Web projects:
1. Concept
The definition concept phase is a critical first step that involves a meeting or series of meetings with your team to understand your specific business goals, brand image, technical requirements and overall visions for your Web Site. We'll use this information to formulate the most appropriate customised Internet strategy for your business model, marketing strategy, and corporate infrastructure.
Completion: Communication needs, technical requierements and site structure document.
2. Design
The design phase focuses around the creative "look and feel" and user experience for each of the critical pages and conversion points across the Web Site. Our design team will create several design concepts while the project team will propose a site navigation structure.
To capture the brand consistency and message integration with your other communication resources, we'll incorporate the branding of all your existing marketing materials. Or, if you are looking for a fresh new look, we can design an entirely new image that can drive the style of subsequent marketing materials.
Completion: Drafts and final design (home and interior pages).
3. Development
Once we arrive at a final design concept, the Web pages will be developed and optimised. This will include creating the code required to support the style sheets and style guides to establish consistency across the entire site and to optimise graphics for fast loading without compromising quality.
Completion: Web Site and Web Applications.
4. Testing
Before your Web Site is launched, it must first pass our strict testing standards. Our quality assurance and testing practices ensure delivery of high quality, user-friendly solutions which meet expected performance and messaging criteria. Only after the Web Site is thoroughly tested by both Urbana Web Design and the client will the site be launched.
Completion: Quality Assurance and Refines document.
5. Launch
We upload your new Web Site to our servers or the host of your choice and we implement the Web Site in the Web Server.
Completion: Web Site alive (and CD copy backup).
